i have worked with pei yi for one and a half years since he began the principal fund project in 2002. i think he has developed a mature character as a young academic research worker. pei yi is a very diligent student in our lab. he is almost the last one leaving the lab every day. to acquaint himself with the work more quickly, he chose my graduate course: electron physics. though he has an excellent scholastic aptitude, i was afraid that the course was a little difficult for an undergraduate student. as things went by, i found my worry was quite unnecessary. he studied relevant courses such as quantum mechanics by himself and got the highest score for my course. an intelligent young man with hard-working spirit can always live a fruitful and effective life.

i?m deeply impressed by his ability to work independently. i was very busy last year for official work, and have little time to guide him. however every time i see him, he was working or reading in the lab. he told me that he learned by himself through reading the academic journal and learned from other groups in our laboratory. in addition, he has a strong desire for good quality of academic work. he attended every seminar and had a successful corporation with researchers from other groups.

 dear sir or x x x:

mr. ren was admitted in 1986 at 14 years of age into the special class for the gifted youths, my

universitys unique program that caters to the intellectual needs of unusually talented chinese youngsters. it was a rare privilege he earned with his nearly impeccable academic performance through the years of his elementary and secondary school.

he impressed me almost as he entered into my university, a major cradle of chinas scientific and technological talents. at the time, members of the gifted class all had to spend half a month studying by themselves the

principles of calculus and then take an exam so that we could evaluate their self-study capability. mr. ren scored the highest grade in that exam. he also exhibited a keenly whetted mind during class discussions. to my regret at the time, his english was not as good as his mathematics or physics. but i noticed he made a point of working especially hard in improving his english during his five undergraduate years with us. by now, he seems to be at least as proficient in english as most of his former classmates in the gifted class.

At the request of Mr. Xizhen Chen, my former student in the Department of puter Science, Beijing Univ. of Sciences, I am glad to write this letter furnishing my evaluation ofhis academic aptitude for your reference. At the semester final he earned a high grade of 81, which should be "A" according to our grading system. I also ound him good at other studies. After the class, he had personal talks with me several times. He indicated a great interest in puter hardware, In my opinion, Mr. Chen has a potential in puter Science, which can be further developed. In view of his previous achievement s in this College, I am firmly convinced that Mr. Chen will make a successful graduate student. Dear Admissions mittee:

Among all the students who have received my instruction in the courses of “International Marketing” and “Strategic Management” at ABC University, Mr. John Doe is one of the few who stood out and left with me a positive impression. Therefore, I am confident to remend this young man to your prestigious MBA program.

John is a bright and aggressive individual who possesses a strong motivation to learn and excel in his course work. Unlike most of his peers, who gained knowledge merely from school lecturing, John would spend a great amount of efforts and time in reading outside articles and textbooks and share his ideas with the class. In addition, as an open- minded individual who never let go any learning experience, John often came to me discussing various questions and problems he encountered in his coursework.

I would like hereby to draw upon an instance that I believe fully exemplifies John's academic ability. While attending my class he presented an excellent report focusing on the research of the European munity EC, in which he shared with us his careful observations on EC, and proposed a number of innovative suggestions for Taiwanese industries that wished to gain successful presence in that market. Having noticed his superior ability to conduct independent research studies and to support his arguments with logical quantitative *** yses, I remended John to submit his paper to the Accounting & Statistics Quarterly published by the Executive Yuan of R.O.C.. Needless to say, John has acquired very high marks in both of my courses.

The very positive impression made by John has been repeatedly re- enforced by his strong performance in various extracurricular activities. John has managed to earn full confidence from me in his sound managerial potential by demonstrating an intelligence, aggressiveness, and leadership quality in both academic and extracurricular contexts.

In general, I consider John a very promising applicant to your esteemed MBA program. I have the least reservation on his potential to succeed in his future educational as well as professional pursuit, and will be more than happy to discuss with you any matters pertaining to this reference letter.

Sincerely yours

如果你觉得你的学生足够优秀,想推荐他出国读研,那么这份推荐信要怎么写呢?下面是我为你整理的,希望对你有用!

Dear Colleagues:

As a teacher in Department of Biology, Nankai University, a leading university in China, I am very pleased to take this opportunity to remend one of my favorite students to your PhD program.

In September, 2004, Miss Zhang was my students in General Biology, the first professional course they take in the field. She likes it very much. I teach her in an open and interactive manner, she is active and passionate about answering class questions. Miss Zhang is bright, energetic and enthusiastic girl who loves speaking out her own ideas. She never escapes from those points of which she is skeptical. Apart from that, she often puts forward her ideas upon questions and exchanges all of her innovate ideas with me after class.

Upon ending of General Biology course, I asked my students to write an essay upon their understanding of biology. I discovered Miss Zhang’s essay was so impressive and persuasive; her careful essay es from dozens of references to Biology literatures. In essay Miss Zhang stretched out her creative thinking upon status quo of biological research and branches in the field of biology. All of this speaks to her creative and logical and scientific thinking capability. I am gladly to say that Miss Zhang has a clear understanding about General Biology, that prehension has been reflected fully in her essay. Therefore Miss Zhang got a full point for her essay in her class, and other students took it as model essay for granted.

I believe Miss Zhang’s industriousness, passion and dedication will make her an ideal candidate you are seeking for your program, so I highly remend her without any hesitation to you. And I will greatly appreciate it if you could accept her into your program.

Department of the SPECIAL CLASS GIFTED for YOUTHS

University of Science and Technology

Hefei, Anhui 230026, P.R. China

July 1, 1998

Dear Sir or Madam:

I take great pleasure in remending Wang Yong, one of my favorite students, for admission into your distinguished graduate program.

Mr. Wang was admitted in 1986 at 14 years of age into the SPECIAL CLASS for the GIFTED YOUTHS, my university's unique program that caters to the intellectual needs of unusually talented Chinese youngsters. It was a rare privilege he earned with his nearly impeccable academic performance through the years of his elementary and secondary school.

He impressed me almost as he entered into my university, a major cradle of china's scientific and technological talents. At the time, members of the Gifted Class all had to spend half a month studying by themselves the principles of calculus and then take an exam so that we could evaluate their self-study capability. Mr. Wang scored the highest grade in that exam. He also exhibited a keenly whetted mind during class discussions. To my regret at the time, his English was not as good as his mathematics or physics.缺点介绍,公正真实 But I noticed he made a point of working especially hard in improving his English during his five undergraduate years with us. By now, he seems to be at least as proficient in English as most of his former clas *** ates in the Gifted Class.

In my experience with Mr. Wang, I was impressed with not only his extraordinary intelligence but also his ambitions and persistence. I am sure that Mr. Wang will be an outstanding student in any doctoral program that he may care to enroll in. So I would like to support him firmly in his quest remendation into account when considering his application. I would greatly appreciate it you decide to accept him as he wishes.

Yours sincerely

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am writing this letter of remendation for Mr.Caleb,my former student. I have known Mr. Caleb for more than 6 years since his freshman year at "University of Minnesota". At that time,he took the course-- "Mathematical Analysis," which I taught mainly for junior students majoring in Mathematics.

To my surprise,I found he was among the few students in his class who could keep up with the pace of my lectures. Moreover,he often posed thought-provoking questions during the course. Thus it was natural that I liked discussing with this young man and became familiar with him. The more I knew him, the more I found he was talented at mathematics. As you can see,he got excellent scores on the course.

In fact,he ranked No. 1 on this 270 hours course in the talented student class which has 34 intelligent others. With his outstanding talent and solid mathematical background,he also did quite well in most other courses during his undergraduate study. By the way,you may wonder why his undergraduate scores look not so good pared to other Chinese applicants. It is easy to explain, because he belonged to the talented student class, which were required to endure harder test papers and stricter grading than most other college students did at least at "University of Minnesota". He even served as Prof. Linda s Research Assistant for one year. No one could deny his mitment to his job.

As a matter of fact,Prof. Linda s electronic lab happened to be neighboring my office and I could always see him working in the lab, either repairing the instruments or helping Prof. Linda collect lab reports. Maybe one more example will demonstrate his mitment more clearly. Once he suggested piling a FORTRAN program to solve a plicated circuit problem in his class. In order to do that,he had to do a lot of puter work. However, because there were few puters available in our puter lab,he had to wake up at 5 a.m. in winter please note: "Twin city" is a downtown near the north border of China,so it is pretty cold in winter and the heating system is not working very well. to ensure the 1st position of the long waiting line for his clas *** ates and himself! At last he and his clas *** ates finished the program successfully with his great efforts.

As to his personality,I would like to say Mr. Caleb is a warm-hearted, honest and upright student. He was always ready to help others. During my lectures, many students got confused at some points and I could always see Mr. Caleb help them explain during breaks. In the meanwhile,I must admit that Mr. Caleb was a bit impatient sometimes.

Finally,I would like to conclude my remendation as follows: frankly,Mr. Caleb is not a genius, but I promise his great intelligence, mitment to work and his kind nature will impress you deeply. Thus I remend him without reservation for his admission and financial aid to your program. Please feel free to contact me if needed.

Sincerely Yours,

 2nd January 20xx

 To whom it may concern,

I am pleased to write this letter to recommend Miss Junhui Wang to your university. I taught her Finance in September 20xx, and she was among the few who achieved “A” for this course. I also consider her to be one of the best students that I have ever taught.

What impressed me the most was her passion in learning and her insights into economic problems. I normally asked my students to keep abreast of current affairs. Miss Wang was one of the few who keeps up with that advice. Once in my class, just 2 days after our country boosted up the required level of deposit reserve rate, I posed the question why the central bank took this action. She was the first to reply that it was the sixth time in 20xx for our central bank to raise the deposit reserve rate by 0.5% and hit the key point of the reason: inflation. She illustrated the evidence of inflation and how central bank’s action alleviated it.

In my class, she was also a girl who actively participated in group discussion. She often spoke out her own ideas, listened carefully to others, and encouraged quiet students to share thEir opinions. She is exceptionally good at applying text-book knowledge to real life cases. Her insightful analysis often concluded a discussion.

At the end of my course, students were required to do presentation work in a group of 4 or 5 people as part of the course assessment. Miss Wang was the representative of her group to give a presentation. Her topic was about Chinese monetary system. Her presentation was one of the best, given in crystal clear clarity and with great passion. Finally, she made a valuable prediction that free convertibility of Renminbi would come soon and offered explanations.

I consider that Miss Wang owns many merits that would make her a successful economist – passionate, insightful, analytical and perseverant. I wholeheartedly recommend her to you.

 Yours sincerely,

高中英文推荐信范文一:

 Dear Madama/Sir:

When Miss xxx requested a letter of reference from me to support her application for graduate studies at your esteemed university, as her teacher, I am pleased to write this letter for her.

I got to know xxx when she took part in National School of Mathematical Modeling Contest in 2005. Exactly, the time was one hour before the contest be over. At that time other groups already handed over the paper and program to person in charge and only her group around the computer amended something, I came to remind them of hurrying up and found that they were amending the map which I felt very good and also accorded with the paper requirement. When I asked her what she did, she said that she put several cities on the wrong places so she must correct them. She checked it again and again, before ten minutes the contest would be over and her group handed over the map. I was impressed by her clinging spirit which made her group win the second prize in the mathematical modeling contest.

The second time of meeting her was that I reviewed practices things in her class. When I saw her, she only one stayed in the class to consult materials, I asked her why other students couldn?t stay with her, she said that other students were cold and she let them go to back to have a rest. She already found out a new arithmetic but didn?t use it masterly, so she used three computers to check the results by changing parameters. The quantities of data were so large that I couldn?t believe she was able to finish the task, while I was surprised by her confidence and ability, she finished them on time. I was impressed by her spirit on academy again.

At her junior year, I taught her mathematic modeling course, she treated it very earnestly and she always finished each practical subject perfectly. Such as, after I gave her some key guidance, she classified the knowledge needed for study and listed the best methods to acquire knowledge on this field and finished it efficiently.

Recently I got to know she will apply for financing engineering and I was glad to tell her that if she connects theory with practice, she will exert mathematical character better. I strongly support her decision and hope my recommendation will receive your favorable consideration.

 Sincerely yours

 Professor xxx

 Dear Sir or x x x:

I take great pleasure in recommending Ren Ren, one of my favorite students, for admission into your distinguished graduate program.

Mr. Ren was admitted in 1986 at 14 years of age into the SPECIAL CLASS for the GIFTED YOUTHS, my university 's unique program that caters to the intellectual needs of unusually talented Chinese youngsters. It was a rare privilege he earned with his nearly impeccable完美的 academic performance through the years of his elementary and secondary school.

He impressed me almost as he entered into my university, a major cradle of China' s scientific and technological talents. At the time, members of the Gifted Class all had to spend half a month studying by themselves the principles of calculus and then take an exam so that we could evaluate their self-study capability.

In my experience with Mr. Ren, I was impressed with not only his extraordinary intelligence but also his ambitions and persistence. I am sure that Mr. Ren will be an outstanding student in any doctoral program that he may care to enroll in. So I would like to support him firmly in his quest recommendation into account when

considering his application. I would greatly appreciate it you decide to accept him as he wishes.

 Yours sincerely

 Dear Sir,

I wish to apply for a position with your [publishing house]. I?m [35] years old and am at present employed by [World Publishing House], where I have been for [the past five years]. Formerly I was employed by [Dongfang Press] where I was nearly [five years].

My only reason for leaving either those positions would be to better myself and I feel there is no further opportunity in my present position.

The editorial work had always had a great appeal to me as I have some ability in writing and editorial work.

I can give you references from both these press houses as to my character and ability as an editor.

 Very truly yours,
